3. Ensure the model is scaled 1:1
4. Make sure there are no: zero-thickness areas in the model geometry
How to Prepare a Model for Laser Cutting and Milling:
1. File format – vector (DXF, CDR, SVG)
2. The file name should include – the material, material thickness, and number of copies
3. Ensure the model is scaled 1:1
4. Make sure there are no: double lines, open and intersecting contours, hidden layers
5. All fonts should be converted to curves
6. Specify where are the notches and where are the holes for milling; where is the cutting, engraving, or tracing for laser cutting.
